Prayer for Cancer Patient: Prayers for healing – Be hopeful

Prayer for healing: Trust in God to overcome the cancer

Prayers for healing – Be hopeful …
God is our hope and our promise. He holds all things in His hands and He performs miracles. We are a part of His family and He loves us. Even if we are in serious trouble, we don’t have to be afraid. We just have to trust Him. He takes care of our daily needs and our problems. He can see the larger overall picture and knows what is best for us. We must resign ourselves to Him, obey Him, and seek His will daily, in our prayers and in our Bible reading. God looks at our hearts. Our problems can bring us closer to God and heal our hearts so that we can reflect His light and love for others.

Prayers for healing – Find strength …
God, give me the power to handle even more cancer treatments. Help me see the ways in which I can use this painful period to pray with sincere feelings for others.

Healing cancer from within through the healing Love of God. .

No cancer is incurable.

Cancer is an attack on our body, a disruption of the balance of cell division. There are many causes that increase the risk of cancer, but it is ultimately your own body that determines whether or not the cancer occurs. Many people smoke but one does get cancer and the other doesn’t. In the end it is not the external circumstances that determine whether we get cancer, but how our body reacts to these circumstances.

And that has everything to do with our inner resistance to cancer. It is therefore surprising that the medical world has no eye at all for the inner being, but that it focuses exclusively on the destruction of cancer cells. And that while they know and have been shown that a positive inner attitude positively influences the healing process of the body.

Jesus promised He walked the earth several times to the sick He treated: “you were done according to your faith.”

Matthew 8:13 And Jesus said to the captain, Go, you are done according to your faith. And the servant healed right at that hour.

Matthew 9:29 And he touched their eyes, and said, You are done according to your faith.

Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith; And her daughter was healed from that moment. Prayer for Cancer Patient

Jesus helped people come into contact with their divine source, with God the Father and Creator, and from there overcome their illness. Doctors, on the other hand, make a diagnosis and then tell them what the patient can expect, thus triggering their own expectations and planting this expectation in the heart of the patient.

You have to be strong in your shoes to go against this negative expectation and to deal with fear. I am not saying that doctors are doing wrong work but this way our inner strength that should support the healing process is being paralyzed rather than supported. After all, we will ultimately have to heal ourselves. Medical procedures can help us with this, but doctors are also completely dependent on how our body reacts to these procedures.

Cancer is just like any other disease a signal in our body that something is not right. It is then a matter of going to our origin, to our Creator, who has created everything well and perfectly, and there to re-tune us to the divine energy that can heal us from within. It is sad that as human beings we often only start praying when there are serious problems in our lives but it is better late than never. We often need problems in our lives to realize that we have strayed so far from our inner source that is meant to live in harmony with God.

Jesus has come to us to bring us back in contact with God and to learn to live from there. When Jesus walked on earth, He was best known for the many wonderful healings that He did, but the message He brought was often misunderstood. Jesus had come to bring humanity back into contact with God, to bring man back to its original purpose. The many healings were just a sign, a proof, that He really had something to say.

Proof of a supernatural reality that can restore our life and give our inner new life beyond death. Jesus came to bring us in contact with God and to live from there. The law of love, hope, faith and trust are stronger than the laws of disease fear and death. Our mind, together with God’s Spirit, is able to raise itself above our illness and fear and thus exert a positive powerful influence on the healing process.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, If you can! All things are possible for those who believe.

Mark 10:27 Jesus looked upon them and said, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.

Tips for curing cancer and / or living with cancer in victory.

Jesus is the bridge, the link, the way, between us and God. Pray to Jesus and He will bring us inwardly to God and guide us with His Spirit.

  1. Get treatment by doctors but make sure your mind is above this treatment. Do not give your body to the doctors, but instruct your body to support the treatments and bless the doctors in their actions by praying in the name of Jesus. Surrender your body in the hand of God.
  2. Make sure that you do not allow fear or concern, but always keep in mind that you are overcoming the disease and trust in the power of Jesus.
(Be not worried in any thing, but let your wishes be made known to God through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which is beyond reason, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 6-7)
  3. Continue to live and make plans for the future. Not from denial, but from faith and faith in Jesus that everything will be fine. (John 15: 7 If you remain in Me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will become to you.)
  4. Do not see cancer as an enemy, but undergo this process as a learning school to become stronger and to become even more whole in spirit, soul and body. You can bless the cancer with God’s love so that it will disappear. (Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies)
  5. Make sure you are above the cancer and give your life content by blessing others. Also in your process of illness and recovery. (Romans 12:21 Let not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good.)
  6. If you inwardly know of God that you are going to die, then see death as a friend who will unite you with God and prepare your loved ones in a loving way for farewell. Death is not a defeat. Together with Jesus our inner self can rise above death and death is only a transition to Him. The most important thing is to experience His peace in everything. We can always pray for healing but for everyone there is a moment to die. (John 11:25 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me will live even if he has died)

Geothermal Energy: Advantages and Disadvantages

Disadvantages of geothermal energy

Geothermal energy (geothermal heat) is mentioned as the sustainable alternative to natural gas. But is that really so? For example, are our groundwater resources well protected in these advancing soil activities? The advantages and disadvantages of geothermal energy and geothermal heat.

What exactly is geothermal?

Geothermal energy is the scientific name for geothermal heat. A distinction is made between two types: shallow geothermal energy (between 0 – 300 meters) and deep geothermal energy (up to 2500 meters in the ground).

What is shallow geothermal?

Niels Hartog, researcher at KWR Watercycle Research: “Shallow geothermal energy consists of systems that store seasonal heat and cold, such as soil heat exchanger systems and heat and cold storage (WKO) systems. In the summer, hot water from the shallow subsurface is stored for heating in the winter, in the winter cold water is stored for cooling in the summer. ”These systems are mainly used in urban areas and in residential areas.

What are ‘open’ and ‘closed’ systems?

Hartog: “A bottom heat exchanger system is a closed system. This is where thermal energy is exchanged over the wall of a pipe in the ground. At a WKO, hot and cold water is pumped and stored in the soil. Because active water is pumped here and out of the sand layers into the soil, this is also referred to as “open” systems.

What is deep geothermal energy?

With deep geothermal energy, a pump with water at a temperature of 80 to 90 degrees is extracted from the soil. It is warmer in the deep subsurface, hence the term geothermal. “That is possible all year round, because the seasons have no influence on the temperature in the deep subsurface. Greenhouse horticulture started with this some ten years ago. Now it is increasingly being looked at how deep geothermal energy can also be used in inhabited areas as an alternative to gas. ”

“Deep geothermal energy is mentioned as an alternative to gas”

Is it an infinite source of energy?

Deep geothermal energy is not by definition an infinite source of energy. The heat is removed from the soil and this is partially supplemented each time. Over time, the system may become less efficient. Regarding CO2 emissions, it is much more sustainable than the use of fossil fuels.

Geothermal heat: benefits

  • Sustainable source of energy
  • No CO2 emissions

Terrestrial heat: disadvantages

  • High construction costs
  • Small risk of earthquakes
  • Risks of groundwater pollution

What is the influence of geothermal energy on drinking water supplies?

Groundwater supplies that are used for drinking water production are located at depths up to 320 meters in the soil. These stocks are protected by a tens of meters deep clay layer. In geothermal practices, water (which is not used for drinking water production) is displaced or liquids are piped into the soil. For such systems, drilling is required in the soil. As geothermal activities often take place at hundreds of meters, it may be necessary to drill through groundwater supplies. In a 2016 KWR report, Hartog set out a number of risks to groundwater supplies:

Geothermal: three risks for drinking water

Risk 1: The drilling is not going well

Drilling groundwater packages through insufficient sealing of separating layers can cause groundwater contamination. Drilling mud with potentially contaminated substances can also penetrate a water-bearing layer (aquifer) or groundwater packages. And contaminations in the shallower subsurface can end up underneath this layer by penetrating a protective layer.

Risk 2: Groundwater quality deteriorated due to residual heat

The degree of heat emission from the well can lead to changes in groundwater quality. Groundwater may not be warmer than 25 degrees. What quality changes can occur is unknown and probably strongly location-dependent.

Risk 3: Pollution from old oil and gas wells

The proximity of old abandoned oil and gas wells near the injection well of geothermal systems leads to a risk for groundwater. Old wells may have been damaged or insufficiently sealed. This allows formation water from the geothermal reservoir to rise via an old well and end up in the groundwater.

With every form of geothermal there are risks for drinking water sources

Geothermal: not in drinking water areas

With deep geothermal energy but also with the shallow thermal systems there are therefore risks for groundwater supplies that we use as a source for drinking water. The drinking water companies, but also the SSM (State Supervision of Mines) are therefore critical of mining activities such as deep geothermal energy in all drinking water extraction areas and areas with strategic groundwater reserves. Provinces have therefore excluded thermal and geothermal energy in protection areas and bore-free zones around existing extraction sites. Central government has adopted this exclusion of geothermal energy in drinking water areas in the (design) Substrate Structure Vision.

Clear rules and strict requirements required

For shallow geothermal energy, ie the thermal storage systems, clearer rules and stricter requirements for a permit for geothermal heat systems are being worked on. Hartog: “That way you prevent cowboys from coming onto the market and you give good companies the opportunity to build a reliable and safe system elsewhere, in consultation with the province and the local drinking water company.”

‘Safety culture a problem’

But with deep geothermal energy there are not yet clear rules. In addition, drinking water companies are concerned about the safety culture in the geothermal sector. According to a report from the SSM, this is not good and the focus is not so much on safety, but rather on cost savings.

It is not specified how monitoring should be arranged

‘Monitoring not properly arranged’

It is mainly about how you carry out the drilling and well construction, says Hartog. “It’s about where you drill, how you drill and how you seal a hole. The material for the wells and the amount of walls are also important. The system must be as watertight as possible. ”According to the critics, this is precisely the problem. To perform geothermal energy safely, good monitoring is required so that any problems can be detected and action can be taken quickly if things go wrong. However, the rules do not specify how such monitoring should be arranged.

Is ‘safe’ geothermal energy possible?

Absolutely, says Hartog. It is not a matter of one or the other, it is mainly how you do it. It is important to involve drinking water companies in the development. “They possess a wealth of knowledge about the soil. So they know exactly what is needed to properly protect groundwater supplies. ”

Provincial cooperation

In several areas, the Province, drinking water companies and producers of geothermal energy are already working together intensively for good agreements. For example, a ‘green deal’ has been concluded in Noord-Brabant stating, among other things, where underground activities may and may not take place. There is a similar partnership in Gelderland.

‘Working together on a solution’

According to Hartog, there is no other choice than good cooperation between all parties involved. “We want to get rid of gas, generate sustainable energy and at the same time have high-quality and affordable tap water. That is possible, but then we must cooperate constructively and not engage in a mutual struggle. That is counterproductive. In a new research program we are now looking at how water knowledge can be used sector-wide in the circular economy. ”

Fast growth

The gas and energy transition in the Netherlands is currently moving at a rapid pace. For shallow open geothermal systems, substantial growth is predicted: currently there are 3,000 open soil energy systems, by 2023 there must be 8,000. Where exactly they should go is still unknown. Additional groundwater reserves are also needed for the future drinking water supply that must be designated. Provinces and drinking water companies are therefore investigating how both space claims can be realized. Function separation is the starting point.

Customization required

According to Hartog, the knowledge that has been gained in recent years and the agreements that have been made have created a kind of national blueprint. “You then look at the specific requirements of a geothermal system for each location. The substrate is different everywhere and the clay layers differ in thickness. ”

“Sustainable, but not without risk”

Finally, Hartog emphasizes that we should not close our eyes to possible negative effects on the environment. “I often compare it to the rise of an electric car: a sustainable development, but you can still hit someone with it. In short, that development in a broad sense and in the longer term is positive does not mean that there are no dangers. ”

11 Advantages and 9 Disadvantages of Solar Energy

solar energy advantages and disadvantages. Solar panels are extremely popular, but the question may arise whether everything is that positive? Why people are increasingly opting for this sustainable form of energy generation, certainly has to do with the following benefits associated with solar energy and the use of solar panels.

Discover the advantages and disadvantages of solar energy

Energy prices have been rising for years. More and more people are even barely able to pay their energy bills, but the energy costs for the rest of the population are becoming increasingly important.

Many are therefore looking for alternative ways to purchase energy. The hype of recent years is solar energy . Installing solar panels is feasible for the small individual, and also affordable. But what are the benefits of solar energy? And what are the disadvantages of solar energy?

Benefits of solar energy

11 Advantages and 9 Disadvantages of Solar Energy

The biggest advantage of solar energy is of course the independence that you gain from energy suppliers. When you have solar panels installed, you are no longer dependent on price increases for fossil fuels. You invest in the installation of solar panels , possibly with the help of a green loan, and from then on you can enjoy your own electricity, without having to undergo any annoying rate increases.

Installing solar panels is of course an energy-saving investment , and that is rewarded by various governments in this country. Despite the decision of various governments to reduce or even cancel subsidies for solar panels, the existing subsidies can still make your investment in solar panels much more bearable.

Many people think that solar panels can not be profitable in a country like Belgium, since the sun does not shine much in our country. But solar panels do not need so much sun to work. After all, solar panels convert light into electricity, and that does not necessarily have to be sunlight. It is true that the intensity of the light plays an important role. Solar panels will indeed generate more electricity if the sun shines, but they continue to generate electricity if it is cloudy.

Disadvantages of solar energy

Investing in solar energy , on the other hand, also has some disadvantages. One of the biggest disadvantages of solar energy is still the price. The cost price of an installation in solar panels has fallen sharply in recent years, but still amounts to several thousand euros, and you can only earn back after seven years at the earliest.

Moreover, installing solar panels is not for everyone. Not only does the high price exclude part of the population, but solar panels also have to be placed in a certain position. A large part of the day the sun shines from the south, so it is best to place your solar panels in a southerly direction. However, if you have a roof that only faces north, installing solar panels is not profitable.

A smaller disadvantage of solar energy is the influence that solar panels can exert on the appearance of your home. A roof covered with solar panels is not considered aesthetically successful by everyone. There are many design panels on the market today that look better, but they are often in a higher price range.

Whether solar panels can be profitable, therefore, depends primarily on your personal situation. If you have a roof that is conveniently located and you have the necessary budget, then solar panels can certainly be an interesting investment.

Advantages of solar energy panels

  1. No costs. The electricity that you generate with the help of solar panels is free, the sun shines anyway. Moreover, the sun does not have to shine in vain to generate electricity, only daylight is sufficient.
  2. Intended use. Solar panel owners generally use electricity more consciously and consume on average less than households, with no panels mounted on the roof. Lower power consumption means fewer costs but is also less harmful to the environment.
  3. Emissions. Solar panels do not cause any greenhouse gases and therefore have no CO2 emissions and are therefore better for the environment than other (fossil) energy sources. Solar panels are produced in an environmentally friendly way, so they are also better that way.
  4. Safety. Generating energy with the help of solar panels is completely safe and there is no chance of accidents.
  5. Installation. Solar panels can be installed on your roof in a short time by a recognized installation company. Often the job is done within a day.
  6. No wear. Because there are no moving parts on the solar panels, there is relatively little wear and, apart from a regular cleaning, the panels require no maintenance.
  7. Reliability. Solar panels are reliable and have a long service life, on average from around 10 to 20 years.
  8. Recycling. When the panels are due for replacement, they can be recycled for 90% and can therefore be reused to make panels. The youngest generation of solar panels is also losing less and less energy and is hardly losing any energy.
  9. Value of your house. The value of the home increases after installing solar panels. Even if you want to sell your house in the future, it is beneficial to have panels. The presence of solar panels means a higher asking price for your house.
  10. No fluctuating prices. When the prices of energy suppliers fluctuate, that does not affect your electricity costs, because you generate your energy yourself and are therefore not dependent on an external supplier.
  11. Grants. If you generate energy in a sustainable way, you are also eligible for subsidies and for a green energy certificate.

Cons of solar energy panels

Of course there are also disadvantages when using solar panels, but in most cases these do not outweigh the aforementioned advantages. There are, however, a number of names.

  1. Look. Most people find solar panels very ugly and unsightly for the roof. This feeling is often caused when the panels are not properly laid out and the whole appears somewhat messy. When you work neatly when laying the panels, this sloppy impression is quickly prevented. Take a good look in advance to see how the panels look and look best.
  2. Right place on the roof. Placing the panels in the right place on the roof is not always possible. For example, because you simply cannot reach it, or because the roof is not on the most ideal side of the house, the South. On a flat roof you can determine the slope angle yourself, on a sloping roof you are bound to the existing slope.
  3. Checking and cleaning. You should regularly check and clean the solar panels, preferably with a soft cloth and water. This means that you have to go up on the roof, which is not easy for everyone.
  4. More expensive insurance. There are cases where the insurance of your house becomes more expensive.
  5. Decrease in return. The efficiency of the panels has decreased over the years, but that is especially the case with poor quality solar panels. If you choose good solar panels, on average you only lose a small percentage of your return per year. There are differences between the brands of solar panels, but you have to think about an average loss of less than 1% per year.
  6. Extra group and new meter needed. You generally need an extra group in the meter cupboard. This must be made by a recognized company and that entails additional costs. Many households still have an old-fashioned meter, of which you must pass on the meter readings to the energy company every year. If you also purchase a smart meter with your solar panels at the same time, you no longer have to submit any readings.
  7. Uncertain netting. The netting is not certain. When you have power left, that is, when you use less than is generated, the power flows back to the supplier, who has to pay you a fee for this. Whether this will also happen in the future is uncertain.
  8. Consumer costs. Instead of receiving a subsidy, you have to pay a percentage if you generate energy yourself using solar panels.
  9. Not enough power. Do you need more power than what your solar panels provide? Then you still have to use the regular power supply and that entails extra costs.

Solar energy versus fossil energy

To make clear what the biggest differences are between solar energy and regular energy sources, we have listed the most important differences for you in the following table.

Solar energy Fossil energy
Harmful consequences for the environment. No Yes
Co2 emissions. No Yes
Extra electricity costs. No Yes
Purchase costs. Costs for the solar panels, materials and installation. Only the connection costs.
In the event of a power failure. Not relevant, because electricity is stored in the panels. So all your devices work. Think, for example, of problems with a freezer that fails, or you no longer have internet. Or your car cannot be charged. No electricity or gas when the power goes out. So you cannot use all devices at that time.

Deliver (too) little

A disadvantage that many people argue not to choose solar panels is the low yield. However, most households save half their electricity costs with solar panels on the roof. And especially given the fluctuating energy prices and rising taxes on electricity, it is a good investment for the future. An average system pays for itself in around 6 to 9 years. It is therefore a disadvantage, which is actually not entirely correct!

Only when the sun is out

Of course, a disadvantage is that solar panels only work when it is light. So they don’t work at night. However, a common misconception is that the sun must shine during the day in order to be able to use the panels. This is not true because solar panels but also solar water heaters operate on sunlight and it is not very important whether the sun is visible or not. If you are environmentally conscious and want to use 100% green energy, then you must also choose an energy supplier that can provide you with sustainable energy during the night. For example from wind energy or geothermal heat.

Netting after 2020?

It is not clear what will happen after 2020 with regard to the netting scheme. There is a lot of speculation and some experts even assume that people who return electricity to the grid have to pay some sort of tax. One way to circumvent the feed-in registration is not to use a digital (smart) meter, but to go for a suitable analog meter with a turntable. It is therefore not clear at this moment what will happen and since your panels will last for at least 25 years, a change in legislation will have consequences for the efficiency of your system.
